Booking Confirmation Policy

We require a 50% deposit of the total booking quote to secure the date/time and car(s) for your event. The remaining balance, or the full amount if booked within 4 weeks, is to be paid at least 4 weeks prior to the event date.

Should full payment not be received at least 4 weeks prior then we will consider the booking to be cancelled.

Cancellations Policy

Should you wish to cancel your booking the following charges apply:-

Deposit Payments:
Deposit payments are non refundable and cover admin and logistic costs along with reserving the day/time for you at the possible expense of another client.

Full and Balance Payments:
0 to 31 days before the event 100% of total booking cost.
More than 1 month before the event 50% of total booking cost.

Cancelleation due to force majeure:
Black Cab Central is an ethical and customer-focussed business, we will strive to reach amicable conclusions including rescheduling bookings or providing credit for any unavoidable cancellations. Please see point 17 for further details.

Service Policy

We pride ourselves in the knowledge that we offer the very best in customer service satisfaction, however, there may be times due to an act outside of our control where we fail to deliver the highest quality of service, in the unlikely event of that happening please let us know and we will make every endeavour to rectify the problem.

We are extremely proud of our high standards of service and attention to detail, however, please note that your driver may arrive slightly earlier than your pick up time is stated, likewise due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic conditions, accidents etc they may also arrive slightly later than the arranged pickup time is stated, although we do our utmost to be prompt but this must be acknowledged and taken into consideration.

Privacy Policy

Black Cab Central maintains a database of all our customers that use our services. Our Privacy policy has strict guidelines as to who is allowed access to your personal information. Your information will not be divulged or passed to any third party, except by law to enforcement agencies, and or, government agencies, if so directed (even to your spouse, partner, child, mother etc) unless an authority is given by yourself in writing. All the information we receive will only be used internally to serve you better for the future. Please inform us if you do not wish to have your details in our database.

  1. These conditions (“the conditions) supplied by “Black Cab Central” (“the company”) to a customer (“the customer”) shall be incorporated into each contract (“the contract”) made by the company for the supply of goods (“the goods”) and service (“the service”) and hiring out of vehicles by the company. The company contracts as aforesaid upon such terms as are agreed between the company and the customer and the terms of the conditions alone. No variation of any of the conditions shall be effective unless in writing and signed by a duly authorized representative of the company.
  2. All payments must be paid by the customer in full four weeks prior the date of your booking date.
  3. A non-refundable 50% deposit has to be paid by the customer in order to secure your required booking date.
  4. Full payment must be received 30 days prior to your event. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if full payment has not been received.

  6. Black Cab Central are not held responsible for any damage to any person or clothing (inc wedding attire) that have sustained damage by our vehicle. It is every person’s own responsibility to safely get in and out of our vehicles.
  7. Whilst all effort is made to prevent, Black Cab Central will not be held responsible for any mechanical breakdowns (IE engine failure, flat tyres, technical issues etc) or accidents/collisions that would cause delay to your event. Every effort will be made to resolve at the soonest opportunity in the event of an incident.
  8. Black Cab Central will not be held responsible for traffic delays to, during and after your event.
  9. Any Traffic infringements or fines incurred during the booking as a result of client’s unauthorised / illegal instruction will be payable by client.
  10. Any damage caused by the customer or the customer’s party (including signage installation and removal or damage to the photobooth equipment) will be invoiced for the cost of the repairing.
  11. Unless agreed with management, the cab(s) will depart at time stated on booking form as we may have other bookings/commitments.
  12. We have zero tolerance for dangerous, anti-social or abusive behaviour.
    We want your event to be long remembered for the right reasons and reserve the right to cancel the booking on the spot should our staff feel it necessary.
  13. No smoking is permitted in any of our vehicles.
  14. Food and drink may be consumed at the driver’s discretion.
  15. Any alterations to the agreed contract on the day of your event must be authorised by management and – if required – full payment be received before commencement.
  16. Where a substitution vehicle is necessary due to unexpected issues, every effort to use a car of similar model/value will be made.
  17. Should Black Cab Central be unable to deliver a service due to an unexpected circumstance, a credit note or refund for the undelivered service (or part thereof only) may be offered.
  18. The customer shall be solely responsible for ensuring that details on the company’s booking/order forms are accurate.
  19. Neither party is responsible for any failure to perform its obligations under this contract if it is prevented from, or delayed in, performing those obligations by an event of force majeure(1).Where there is an event of force majeure, the party prevented from, or delayed in, performing its obligations under this contract must immediately notify the other party giving full particulars of the event of force majeure and the reasons for the event of force majeure preventing that party from, or delaying that party in, performing its obligations under this contract and that party must use its reasonable efforts to mitigate the effect of the event of force majeure upon its or their performance of the contract and to fulfill its or their obligations under the contract.Upon completion of the event of force majeure the party(s) affected must, as soon as reasonably practicable, rearrange the performance of its obligations under this contract.An event of force majeure does not relieve a party from liability for an obligation which arose before the occurrence of that event, nor does that event affect the obligation to pay money as per the agreed timeline prior to the occurrence of that event.The client has no entitlement to, and Black Cab Central has no liability for: (a) any costs, losses, expenses, damages or the payment of any part of the contract price during an event of force majeure (b) any delay costs in any way incurred by the Client due to an event of force majeure.
    Every effort will be made by Black Cab Central to fulfil its commitment and provide services of similar value to those originally contracted or compensate where appropriate.
  20. These terms and conditions will be abided to as soon as your booking is confirmed or deposit paid.
  21. Any disagreements, will be settled by binding informal arbitration.

(1) An event of force majeure is an event or circumstance which is beyond the control and without the fault or negligence of the party affected and which by the exercise of reasonable diligence the party affected was unable to prevent provided that event or circumstance is limited to the following: (a) riot, war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), acts of terrorism, civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection of military or usurped power, requisition or compulsory acquisition by any governmental or competent authority (b) ionising radiation or contamination, radioactivity from any nuclear fuel or nuclear waste from the combustion of nuclear fuel, radioactive toxic explosive or other hazardous properties of any explosive assembly or nuclear component (c) pressure waves caused by aircraft or other aerial devices travelling at sonic or supersonic speeds (d) earthquakes, flood, fire or other physical natural disaster, but excluding weather conditions regardless of severity (e) strikes or industrial disputes at a national level, or strikes or industrial disputes by labour not employed by the affected party, its subContractors or its suppliers, and which affect an essential portion of the works, but excluding any industrial dispute which is specific to the performance of the works or this contract. (f) pandemics, national restrictions of general population movement on health grounds
